Chance is an important component of life. In my seascapes, I embrace spontaneity and curiosity to send the liquid to places it didn’t want to go. I untie the barriers that hold me back between light and dark, introversion and extroversion, consciousness and unconsciousness. Art and light are always optimistic and they can find their way to the surface to suppress the darkest thoughts in life. Driven by what is always out of reach but believing that anyone can get there. Water and liquid of any kind is the blood in our veins. It is our existence without it we cannot survive, in that sense liquid of any kind is integrated into my art to take me to unknown paths, to unexpected surprises.
